Dry diggings earrings (READY TO SHIP)

The Dry Diggings Nugget earrings are handcrafted from gold nuggets prospected in the Victorian Goldfields, and sapphires fossicked from Tasmania, Australia. They have a natural purity of approximately 23 carat gold.

For hygiene reasons, earrings are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

Materials & Dimensions

Solid high carat yellow gold nuggets set on 18 carat yellow gold earring posts & backs. 10mm solid 18 carat yellow gold circle trace chain connecting two 0.30 ct. rose cut, light blue, hand-fossicked Tasmanian sapphires. Total drop length approximately 21mm.

Story

The Dry Diggings Nugget Earrings honour the ancient beauty of the Golden Triangle and its hidden treasures. These earrings, and their naturally rocky textures, remind us of craggy bush landscapes and the craters of hidden gullies below. We believe they are perfect just the way they are.

These wild natural gold nuggets highlight how we build relationships through jewellery: keeping them as fragmented talismans, holding them close as reminders of our adventures, and handing them on to loved ones.

The earrings’s design also features a two traditional rose cut sapphires that emphasises each stone's untreated and unique hue.

Due to the nature of our hand-sourced materials, sapphires may vary in size, shape and colour. Although we select stones with similar characteristics, none are exactly the same. Every stone is one of a kind. Your piece will be unique.
