Story

These earrings are named after Baron Ferdinand Von Mueller, the renowned botanist, explorer and pharmacist who founded Melbourne’s Royal Botanical Gardens.

One of his many famous acts was spreading blackberry seeds around Victorian creeks, much to the annoyance of locals who saw them as a noxious weed. Von Mueller simply thought it would be nice for people to enjoy blackberry jam for breakfast.

May they encourage you to find pockets of kindness and generosity as you go through the world.

Production & Delivery

Due to the nature of our hand-sourced materials, spinels may vary in size, shape and colour. Although we select stones with similar characteristics, none are exactly the same. Every stone is one of a kind. Your piece will be unique.

Please note, these earrings are made to order and takes 21 working days to create.
