Story

The Mueller’s Bramble Necklace is named after Baron Ferdinand Von Mueller, the renowned botanist, explorer and pharmacist who founded The Ballarat Botanical Gardens.

One of his many famous acts was spreading blackberry seeds around Victorian creeks, much to the annoyance of locals who saw them as a noxious weed. Von Mueller simply thought it would be nice for people to enjoy blackberry jam for breakfast.
