Materials & Dimensions

Solid 9 carat yellow gold. 0.35 ct. raw, hand-fossicked NSW blue sapphire.

Story

The Ophidia Ring is inspired by the original ring crafted with our first hand-fossicked sapphire that began Wild to Ware. That field trip was a long two-day search to find a single stone, battling blackberry scrub, avoiding large brown snakes and befriending a local rakali who wandered into our tent late one night.

The Ophidia Ring highlights how we hold memories through thoughtful jewellery filled with stories. We hand these delicate talismans to our loved ones and cherish them as nostalgic evocations of our life’s adventures over time.

The single, lightly polished sapphire emphasises the organic and one-of-a-kind nature of each stone.

May it bring you luck on your travels.

Production & Delivery

Due to the nature of our hand-sourced materials, sapphires may vary in size, shape and colour. Although we select stones with similar characteristics, none are exactly the same. Every stone is one of a kind. Your piece will be unique.

Please note, this ring is made to order and takes 21 working days to create.

Responsibility & Packaging

By receiving this, you are giving back.

Wild to Ware champions hand-made manufacturing, operating a made-to-order model and repair workshop to reduce waste.

Your piece will arrive in our signature walnut timber jewellery box; harvested under strict management systems to ensure the balance and biodiversity of the surrounding areas is maintained. A recyclable paper box with a compostable pouch and insert will accompany your new Wild to Ware piece.

To protect your jewellery, we recommend storing in its original packaging when not being worn. Read our care guide.
